1. Introduction
Service fees are charged for the use of the Egy Stay platform and its technical services, customer support, booking facilitation, electronic payments, and communication between hosts and guests.
These fees aim to cover operational costs, booking verification, and to ensure a secure and seamless user experience.
2. Definition of Service Fees
Service fees are fixed amounts or percentage-based charges deducted from each booking made through the Egy Stay platform. Fees may apply to one or both parties (host and guest), depending on the booking structure and service type.
3. Service Fees for Guests

A nominal service fee is added to the total booking amount and clearly displayed before payment completion.

These fees cover administrative costs, customer support, and secure payment processing.

Service fees are automatically collected with the total payment and are non-refundable, except when the booking is canceled by the host or fails due to a platform-related technical issue.
4. Service Fees for Hosts

The platform deducts a percentage from each confirmed booking, typically ranging between 5% and 15%, before transferring the payout to the host.

This fee covers digital marketing, booking management, financial collection, and technical support services.

The applicable fee percentage is clearly displayed in the host dashboard or within the registration agreement.

Hosts may not request or collect additional service fees from guests outside the platform.
5. Fee Deduction Timing

Service fees are deducted automatically during payment processing or payout transfers.

In case of booking cancellation or refund, service fees may be refunded fully or partially only if the service has not started or the booking was not confirmed.

Once a booking is confirmed or the stay has begun, service fees are considered earned and non-refundable.

7. Changes to Fee Rates

8. Taxes and Additional Charges

9. Exceptions and Fee Refunds

In all other cases, service fees are final and non-refundable once payment is completed.
