    Reviews and ratings are an essential part of the user experience on Egy Stay, as they help build trust between hosts and tenants and assist other users in making decisions based on real experiences.
    To preserve the credibility of the system, the platform has established a clear policy governing the submission, publication, and use of reviews.
  2. Purpose of This Policy
    This Reviews Policy aims to:
    • Ensure that all reviews are honest, constructive, and not misleading.
    • Protect all parties from verbal abuse, defamation, or malicious reviews.
    • Maintain a high level of trust and credibility within the platform.
    • Prevent manipulation of reviews or the buying, selling, or exchanging of reviews through improper means.
  3. Conditions for Submitting Reviews
    • Only users who have completed a confirmed actual stay are allowed to submit a review of their experience.
    • The review must be objective and accurately reflect the user’s personal experience.
    • It is prohibited to publish any review that contains:
    • Inappropriate or offensive language.
    • Accusations or defamatory statements without evidence.
    • Promotional content or external links.
    • Personal information about other users, such as phone numbers or addresses.
    • Reviews must be written in clear and respectful language, whether in Arabic or English.
  4. Rating Hosts and Tenants
    • The tenant has the right to rate the host and the property unit after the end of the stay.
    • The host also has the right to rate the tenant in terms of compliance with the rules, cleanliness, and conduct.
    • These ratings help improve service quality and identify trustworthy users within the platform.
  5. Use of Reviews on the Platform
    • Reviews are displayed publicly on listing pages so that users can review them.
    • The platform reserves the right to adjust the order of reviews or hide certain reviews in accordance with quality and credibility algorithms.
    • Reviews may be used to improve performance, manage disputes, and make internal decisions relating to users.
  6. Review Moderation Before Publication
    • Egy Stay has the right to review all submitted reviews before publication to ensure compliance with its general policies.
    • The platform does not edit the content of objective reviews, but it may reject or remove a review in the following cases:
    • If it contains offensive or inappropriate content.
    • If it is proven to be fake or submitted through a fraudulent account.
    • If it violates any usage terms or local laws.
    • If a review is removed, its author will be notified of the reason for rejection without prejudice to their right to submit a proper review later.
  7. Fake or Manipulated Reviews
    • The buying, selling, exchanging, or soliciting of reviews, or the creation of fake accounts to improve or damage reputations, is strictly prohibited.
    • If any manipulation is discovered, the platform administration may:
    • Remove fake reviews immediately.
    • Suspend or delete the account involved.
    • Take legal action where necessary.
  8. Right to Reply and Clarification
    • The host or tenant has the right to respond to reviews posted about them in a respectful and objective manner.
    • Any response must be concise and professional, without engaging in public arguments or hostile replies.
    • The platform has the right to remove replies that contain abuse or policy violations.
  9. Duration of Review Display
    • Published reviews remain visible on the platform for as long as the relevant account or listing remains active.
    • Reviews may be removed at the user’s request where there are convincing legal or technical reasons.
    • The platform retains an internal copy of all reviews for protection and future review purposes.
  10. General Provisions
    • All reviews and ratings shall be considered part of the Egy Stay platform content, and the platform may use them for marketing or quality improvement purposes.
    • The platform bears no legal responsibility for the content of reviews, as they reflect the opinions of their authors only.
    • This policy, and any dispute arising from it, shall be governed by Egyptian law, and the courts of Cairo shall have jurisdiction over any related dispute.
