1. Definitions

Website / Platform: Refers to the “Egy Stay” website or its mobile application.
User: Any person visiting the website or using its services, either as a Host or a Guest.
Host: An individual or entity that owns or manages a property and lists it for rent on the platform.
Guest: A person who books or rents a property listed on the platform.
Property: Any real estate listed for rent, including apartments, villas, studios, or others.
Rental Period: The agreed-upon duration between the Host and Guest (daily, weekly, or monthly).

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using “Egy Stay” or any of its services, you acknowledge and agree to comply fully with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any of the terms, you must stop using the website immediately.

3. Scope of Services

“Egy Stay” provides an online platform connecting Hosts and Guests to facilitate bookings, rentals, and communication.
The platform does not act as a direct party in the rental agreement; its role is limited to technical mediation and secure payment facilitation.
“Egy Stay” is not responsible for the content of listings or the accuracy of information provided by Hosts.

4. Registration and Accounts

Users must create a personal account and provide accurate and complete information.
Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and not sharing them with third parties.
The platform reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts suspected of illegal activity or violation of these Terms.

5. Listing Properties

Hosts must provide accurate information and genuine photos of the listed property.
Posting content that violates the law, public morals, or intellectual property rights is prohibited.
“Egy Stay” reserves the right to review, modify, or remove any listing deemed misleading or non-compliant without prior notice.

6. Booking and Payment

All bookings and payments must be made through the platform’s secure payment system.
Payment is deducted from the Guest and transferred to the Host after the start of the rental period according to the Payment Policy.
The platform retains a service fee for technical and administrative support.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Guests may cancel bookings according to the cancellation policy listed on each property page.
Refund terms vary depending on the cancellation timing and booking type.
In case of disputes, the support team will review the case and make a fair decision for both parties.

8. Responsibilities and Obligations

Host: Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and providing agreed-upon services.
Guest: Responsible for safe use of the property and avoiding any damages.
“Egy Stay” is not liable for damages resulting from misuse of the property or side agreements between users.
In case of violations or damages, the platform may suspend the user or impose penalties.

9. Reviews and Ratings Policy

Guests can leave reviews after completing their stay.
Reviews must be objective and free of abusive or defamatory content.
The platform may remove inappropriate or fake reviews.

10. Privacy Policy

“Egy Stay” is committed to protecting user data and not sharing it with third parties without consent.
Data is used solely to improve services and ensure a safe user experience.
All payment transactions are secured according to global safety standards.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All design, trademarks, textual, and visual content are the property of “Egy Stay.”
Copying or republishing content without written permission from the management is prohibited.

12. Amendments

“Egy Stay” may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect immediately upon publication on the website.
Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes implicit acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Any disputes shall be referred to the competent courts in Cairo.
