Egy Stay believes its community is founded on respect, transparency, and equality among all users — hosts, guests, and visitors.
This policy establishes ethical and behavioral guidelines to maintain a safe, inclusive environment free from discrimination or abuse, in compliance with Egyptian law and international standards.

3. Expected User Behavior

All users are expected to:

  • Communicate respectfully in all messages and meetings.

  • Avoid aggressive, offensive, or racist language.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of properties during stays.

  • Comply with local laws when using or renting properties.

  • Use the platform for lawful purposes only.

  • Respect others’ privacy; do not share personal data or images without consent.

4. Allowed and Prohibited Content

Allowed:

  • Accurate photos and information about properties.

  • Honest reviews free from defamation or abuse.

  • Objective evaluations based on actual experiences.

Prohibited:

  • Pornographic, abusive, violent, or hate-filled content.

  • Posts containing discrimination based on race, religion, gender, nationality, social status, disability, or personal orientation.

  • Misleading, fraudulent content, or intellectual property violations.

  • Irrelevant external links or advertisements.

  • Images or videos showing people without explicit consent.

🔹 The platform may remove prohibited content immediately without prior notice and take appropriate action.

5. Non-Discrimination

Egy Stay enforces equality and prohibits users from:

  • Rejecting or favoring users based on race, color, origin, religion, gender, age, disability, social status, nationality, or political affiliation.

  • Using discriminatory language, images, or behaviors.

  • Setting special conditions, prices, or treatment based on personal identity.

Violations are considered serious and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

6. Privacy and Personal Respect

  • Respect others’ privacy on and off the property.

  • No cameras or monitoring devices without prior consent.

  • Do not collect or store others’ personal data without authorization.

  • Any attempt to spy, harass, or violate privacy is illegal under Egyptian law.

7. Safety and Harmful Content

  • Using the platform for illegal or harmful activities is prohibited.

  • Uploading or sharing files containing viruses or malware is forbidden.

8. Penalties and Enforcement

In case of violation, the platform may:

  1. Warn the user and remove violating content.

  2. Temporarily suspend the account for behavior review.

  3. Permanently ban the account for repeated or serious violations.

9. Platform Responsibilities

  • Review reports and content promptly and impartially.

  • Ensure a safe environment while respecting legitimate freedom of expression.

  • Update standards in line with legal and social developments.

10. General Provisions

  • Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to these standards.

  • Policy and disputes are governed by Egyptian law.

  • Cairo courts have jurisdiction over any legal disputes.
