Cancellation & Refund Policy
Egy Stay offers multiple cancellation policies. The selected policy is chosen by the property owner (host) during listing creation and is applied as-is without modification. The selected policy forms an integral part of the booking agreement between the host and the guest.
1. Flexible Cancellation Policy (Guest-Friendly)
Full Refund
Guests are entitled to a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time.
Partial Refund
If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before check-in, the first night is non-refundable, while the remaining unused nights will be refunded if applicable.
Cancellation After Check-in
Cancellations after check-in require submitting a support ticket through the platform. Refunds, if applicable, are limited to unused nights only, and the unit may be relisted for new bookings.
2. Moderate Cancellation Policy
Full Refund
A full refund is available if the cancellation is made at least 5 days before check-in.
Partial Refund
If cancelled less than 5 days before check-in, the first night is non-refundable, and 50% of the remaining unused nights will be refunded.
Cancellation After Check-in
A support ticket is required, and the request will be reviewed by the platform. If approved, 50% of unused nights may be refunded.
3. Strict Cancellation Policy
Full Refund
A full refund is only available if the cancellation is made within 48 hours of booking, provided that the check-in date is at least 14 days away.
Partial Refund
If cancelled at least 7 days before check-in, 50% of the booking value will be refunded. No refund is available for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in.
Cancellation After Check-in
A support ticket is required, and the case will be reviewed to determine whether any refund applies.
4. Long-Term Stay Policy
- Full refunds are not available for long-term stays.The first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable, whether the cancellation occurs before or after check-in.
- Unused nights after the first 30 days may be refunded following a platform review, and the unit may be relisted.
General Terms

The selected cancellation policy is part of the binding booking agreement.
